Instant comfort
I bought a pair of these yesterday and they haven't been off my feet....well, no, I didn't sleep in them....I bought a half size larger than I usually wear so that I could wear thick socks with them. They look great and really did instantly feel great. I think I will buy another pair. I did buy some spray suade protectant because I will wear them outside in the snow for short periods and it is my guess that the moisture might just stain them. But...don't know that for sure. I like the fact that they are slip on but because of the lip on the back they feel secure and are not likely to slip off unintentionally.
The Most Comfortable Shoe in the World
This is my fourth pair of Merrell Encore Chill Stitch. Last winter I wore the smooth black leather and rarely anything else and they look barely worn. I bought the Raisin in 8M this week and love it. The Raisin is a maroon or burgundy dark red. I don't know how many pairs of Merrells I own but I haven't bought another brand in three years. I wore the Merrell Genoa (three pairs) Sandals all summer and am now looking forward to another warm and toasty winter with my newest Encore Chill Stitch with and/or without socks. Perfect fit and with the lip on the back to hold the shoe on your foot, you can actually run in this shoe. I have also purchased the men's version for my husband and my son. If you want comfort, this is it.
Very comfortable
I wear these fall, winter and early spring. They a far too warm for summer. These clogs are so supportive and comfortable that I even wear them on the treadmill...they are more comfortable than my athletic shoes. When I found them for $39 I decided to purchase two pairs because the usual price is $99.
